Kingsley North Raybrite A Polish is an ultra-fine 0.5 micron (40,000 – 60,000 mesh/grit size) aluminum oxide polishing powder with exceptional polishing properties, and will polish almost any gem. Outstanding on soft gems such as Malachite, Rhodochrosite, and Turquoise. Works excellent in vibrating laps and excellent for faceting – a very popular polish for an ultra-shine.
General Usage Instructions:
For rock tumbling in a rotary tumbler, use approximately 1/2 tablespoon of Raybrite A Polish per pound of tumbler capacity and run for 7 days to achieve a polished finish. For cabbing, either mix with water to a slurry the consistency of a thin cream and brush it onto a felt or leather pad, or dip the stone in water and then into the dry powder before polishing.
