Available in 1 lb and 5 lb bulk sizes, Kingsley North’s 1000 Silicon Carbide Grit is a carefully screened abrasive grit for your lapidary needs. Typically used as a pre-polish stage on vibratory laps, this 1000 grit is also effective with rotary and vibratory tumblers. It provides a sharper, more aggressive cut than aluminum oxide to remove scratches and refine the stone’s surface in preparation for final polish.
